Welcome to the Aspen Creek Library!

The Aspen Creek K-8 Library is open during regular school hours. The library strives to be an inviting and safe space for students where they may pursue their personal interests in the hopes of creating lifelong readers. The library also supports students' efforts in the research process.

Library Policies

Students are welcome in the library throughout the school day with permission from their teacher.
All classes visit the library on a regular basis or semi-regular basis depending on the grade level.
Students may check out up to three library books at a time.
Books are due two weeks from the checkout date.
Books can be renewed. Please bring the book to the library to renew.

Overdue or Lost Materials

There are no fines for overdue books.
Automated emails are sent to families as reminders to return books.
Fines will be assessed if a book is returned damaged (this includes water damage).
Fines will be assessed if the book is lost. Families may replace a lost book with the exact copy.
Students with overdue or lost materials will be delayed in receiving their yearbook at the end of the year.

Student Expectations

1:WEB Chromebooks

Students in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are issued a Chromebook. There is an annual maintenance fee for the Chromebooks.
If you are having any type of issue with your device, please call the BVSD IT Department at 720-561-HELP.
They can reset your password, help with connection issues, etc.
Some repairs are covered under the warranty and some repairs will require a payment.
All BVSD Students have signed and consented to the Student Use of District Technology.
Students in 1:Web schools have also signed the 1:Web BVSD Program Agreement.
Students should be using the device appropriately.
Students may have their Chromebook taken away by a teacher or administrator if either agreement is broken or depending on the situation.

Aspen Creek students and teachers can access the BVSD Overdrive collection of ebooks and audio books. Please sign in through your student portal my.bvsd.org
